Toyota’s global vehicle output falls in Jan-Feb 2026, while sales rise slightly

Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that its global vehicle output decreased by 3.9 percent year on year to 749,673 units in February this year. In particular, the company’s domestic output fell by 2.6 percent to 278,916 units, while its overseas output in the given month declined by 4.6 percent to 470,757 units, both year on year.

Toyota’s global vehicle sales amounted to 470,757 units in February, falling by 3.3 percent year on year.

In the January-February period this year, the company’s global vehicle output was down by 4.9 percent year on year to 1,484,770 units, while its global sales amounted to 1,559,711 units, increasing by 0.8 percent on year-on-year basis.
