Tofaş and Stellantis sign production agreement

A new production agreement signed between Turkish automotive manufacturer Tofaş and Italian automaker Stellantis Europe S.P.A marks a significant step for Turkey’s automotive industry.

Under the new deal, Tofaş will produce the K9 model’s light commercial and Combi versions for the FIAT, Opel, Citroën, and Peugeot brands in Turkey. In addition to production rights, Tofaş has also been granted the distribution rights for these vehicles. The project, which involves an investment of €256 million, aims to increase Turkey’s production capacity while also targeting export markets.
