6 investors bid for Erdemir

According to a press release from the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Privatization Administration (OIB), six investors had met the 16:00 EEDT deadline on Monday (September 26) for submitting bids in the privatization tender for Eregli Demir Celik Fabrikalari TAS (Erdemir). The six bidders vying for the OEB's 46.12 percent stake in Erdemir are as follows: - Arcelor S.A. (Luxembourg) - Eregli Joint Venture Group (Kibar Holding A.S, Yildirim Dis Ticaret ve Pazarlama A.S, Icdas Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi A.S, Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A.S, Tezcan Galvanizli Yapi Elemanlari Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S, Turkon Holding A.S, Borusan Holding A.S, Diler Holding A.S, Turkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birligi, Ankara Ticaret Odasi, Bursa Ticaret ve Sanayi Odasi and Fiba Holding A.S.) - Mittal Steel Company N.V. - Open Joint Stock Company-NLMK (Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Corporation, Russia) Joint Venture Group - Nurol-Limak-Özaltin-Alkol Pazarlama-O.A.O.
