On September 26, SteelOrbis reported that ex-India ferrochrome offers to China improved prices to $1,763-1,807/mt CIF China.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that prices have continued on an upward trend and have increased to $1,815-1,851/mt CIF China. The bottom of the range increased by $52/mt while the top of the range increased by $44/mt. The increase is attributed to a price increase on chromite ore. The increase in the raw material is also expected to support prices on stainless steel finished lines.
