US plate prices still rising

SteelOrbis has confirmed that US domestic plate prices have risen in the past seven days. Current prices are trending at $60-$61+ cwt. ($1,323-$1,345+/mt or $1,200-$1,220+/nt), FOB mill, against $60 cwt. ($1,323/mt or $1,200/nt), FOB mill, a week ago.  Lead times, sources note, are at “or above” six weeks.
