SteelOrbis has confirmed that US domestic plate prices are trending in the range of $31-$32 cwt. ($683-$705/mt or $620-$640/nt) ex-mill, despite back-to-back prices increases in November announced by US plate mills. This range reflects a $1.00  cwt. ($22/mt or $20/nt) widening on the top end from levels heard in late-November.

Sources have also confirmed that there are a handful of transactions taking place on the US West coast, at approximately $0.50 cwt. ($11/mt or $10/nt) below the most commonly heard transaction range pricing in other parts of the US.
