SteelOrbis has learned that the US plate spot market price range has remained mostly steady since our last report a week ago. Today's range is still trending at approximately $82-$83 cwt. ($1,807-$1,830/mt or $1,640-$1,660/nt), FOB mill, however, sources close to SteelOrbis have noted that the bulk of transactions are taking place at the top of that range.
