Latest situation in Russian HDG market

Local traders report that commercial grade hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices in the Russian domestic market have softened by $5-10/mt over the past month due to seasonally low activity, though no further price decreases are expected. Meanwhile, negotiations with steel mills have just started and not all producers have yet entered the market with their January output offers.

Russian traders in the central regions of the country are offering HDG at the following levels:
