The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of its administrative reviews of the antidumping duty order on large diameter (LD) welded pipe from South Korea.

During the review period from May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022, HiSteel and other South Korean companies were found to have made sales of the subject products at less than normal value. In addition, it has been found that Hyundai Steel Company did not make sales of the subject products at prices below normal value.

The DOC has determined weighted-average dumping margins of 6.17 percent for HiSteel and other companies, while a weighted-average dumping margin of zero percent has been determined for Hyundai Steel Company.

The preliminary antidumping duties are applicable from May 22.
