In June this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 80.8 percent, up from 79.3 percent recorded in May, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 78.3 percent in June last year, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
Meanwhile, in June of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 72.1 percent, decreasing from 72.6 percent recorded in May and down from 74.1 percent in June last year.
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 79 percent in June this year, up from the 78.8 percent recorded in the previous month and rising from 78 percent in the same month of 2016.
