Turkey's basic metal output up 0.2 percent in September from August

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in September this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production increased by 3.2 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up 3.4 percent compared to September 2018.

In September, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey increased by 0.2 percent month on month and dropped by 7.2 percent year on year.

The index for the production of fabricated metal products in the given month increased by 4.1 percent month on month and by 5.4 percent year on year.
