Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 3.1 percent in Jan 2026 from Dec

According to the statistics released by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, in January this year Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $1.94 billion, up by 8.8 percent compared to January 2025 and down by 3.1 percent compared to the previous month.

In December 2025, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product export orders had recorded a 2.5 decrease month on month.
