Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 21.7 percent in January

According to the statistics released by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, in January this year Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $1.78 billion, down by 21.7 percent compared to January 2024 and by 13.2 percent compared to the previous month.

In December, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product export orders had recorded a 5.4 increase month on month.
