Severstal’s Cherepovets to increase flat steel supplies to Sevmash

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that its Cherepovets Steel Mill plans to double its deliveries of flat steel to Sevmash, the largest ship building complex in Russia, to 4,000 mt in 2012, as compared to 2011.

Sevmash's main field of specialization is the manufacture of ships, submarines and military equipment for the Russian Navy. Sevmash is the only shipyard in Russia which produces nuclear submarines.
