Russian steelmaker Severstal has supplied 1,200 mt of special hot rolled sheet (HRS) to the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant (NEVZ), the largest industrial electric locomotive producer in Russia.
Accordingly, NEVZ has ordered grade 09G2SD hot rolled sheets with a crescent shape measuring 8 mm x 900 mm x 8,600 mm to produce the sidewalls of electric locomotives.
The product in question allows locomotive manufacturers to reduce time and energy costs during further welding of the sidewalls of electric locomotives and ensures high quality and production efficiency.
