Severstal to produce 19.6 million mt of crude steel per year by 2020

By 2020, Russian steelmaker Severstal plans to increase crude steel production by 4.9 million mt compared to 2010, to 19.6 million mt (14.7 million mt in 2010 and 18.1 million mt in 2015).

Severstal also plans to be included in the first five world producers as per EBITDA by 2020. In 2010, Severstal was ranked number eight in the world with EBITDA at the level of $3.3 billion
