Indian government-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) achieved crude steel production of 1.68 million mt in August 2026, a rise of eight percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to a company statement on Monday, September 7.
The company reported total sales of 1.87 million mt, a rise of 13 percent year on year.
