Russia supplies 420,000 mt of steel to EU in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, Russia supplied 419,570 mt of steel products to EU countries, using 12.5 percent of its annual quota of 3.346 million mt. In particular, Russia exported 208,200 mt of SA1 hot rolled coils, 54,000 mt of SA2 steel plate, 87,700 mt of SA3 flat steel and 18,800 mt of SB3 long steel to the EU.

In 2011, Russia supplied 1.898 million mt of steel products to the EU, using 54.39 percent of its annual quota.
