Peruvian rebar sales nearly 40 percent up in July

Peruvian rebar sales rose nearly 40 percent in July, year-on-year, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, INEI.

According to INEI, Peruvian rebar sales in July totaled 121,220 mt, up from 87,040 mt in the same month of the year prior.

Peruvian rebar sales volumes in July reached the highest level so far in the year.

Peruvian rebar sales have been oscillating in the year, from 98,336 mt in March to 109,438 mt in April, 106,442 mt in May, and 103,150 mt in June.

According to INEI’s data, accumulated Peruvian rebar sales in the January-July period was 765,373 mt, 4.7 percent up, year-on-year.
