Peruvian rebar sales increase in June

Peruvian rebar sales slightly increased in June on a year-on-year basis, according to data from the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.

Government data indicated local rebar sales in June rose to 86,930 mt, from 86,208 mt in the same month of the year prior.

When compared to May, Peruvian rebar sales declined 33.9 percent, month-on-month, from 131,493 mt.

As for H1, Peruvian rebar sales rose 3.5 percent, year-on-year, to 643,719 mt, according to Inegi’s data.
