Peruvian rebar sales fall in September

Peruvian rebar sales in September dropped 15.5 percent, year-on-year, to 110,898 mt, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency (INEI). On a monthly basis, rebar sales decreased 8.5 percent, month-on-month, from 121,220 mt in August this year.

According to INEI, Peruvian rebar sales reached 876,271 mt in the accumulated period of January to September, 1.6 percent down, year-on-year.
