Peruvian rebar sales down in February

Peruvian rebar sales in February declined 2.9 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, INEI.
 
According to government data, local rebar sales in February totaled 96,954 mt, down from 99,884 in February 2016.
 
Peruvian rebar sales in February fell 20.5 percent, month-on-month, from 122,010 mt in January.
 
As for the accumulated period of January to February, Peruvian rebar sales totaled 218,964 mt, 8.6 percent up, year-on-year.
