Peruvian rebar sales decline in March

Peruvian rebar sales in March 2018 dropped 12.2 percent, year-on-year, according to the country’s statistics agency (INEI).

According to INEI’s data, local rebar sales in March reached 98,335 mt, down from 112,045 mt in the same month of the year prior. Peruvian rebar sales in March also declined on a month-on-month analysis from 112,416 mt in February this year.

So far, Peruvian rebar sales in Q1 this year totaled 325,122 mt, 1.8 percent down, year-on-year.
