Peruvian rebar sales decline in July

Peruvian rebar sales in July declined 24 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, INEI.

Total rebar sales for the month reached 87,040 mt, down from 114,594 mt in the same month of the year prior. When compared to June, local rebar sales increased slightly by 0.12 percent, month-on-month.

Accumulated Peruvian rebar sales for the first seven months of year was 730,759 mt, down 0.72 percent year-on-year.
