Peruvian rebar sales decline in December

Peruvian rebar sales in December dropped 9.3 percent, year-on-year, to 92,276 mt, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency (INEI).

INEI said Peruvian rebar sales in December also declined when compared to the 115,236 mt of the product sold in November.

According to INEI’s data, accumulated Peruvian rebar sales for the full-year 2017 was 1.3 million mt, stable from 1.3 million mt in 2016.
