In January this year, new passenger car registrations in the EU dropped by 3.9 percent year on year to 799,625 units, according to the European association of car manufacturers ACEA.
In the given month, the French market (-6.6%) and the German market (-6.6%) saw the only declines, while Italy (+6.2%) and Spain (+1.1%) reported positive results.
