In February this year, new passenger car registrations in the EU increased by 1.4 percent year on year to 865,437 units, according to the European association of car manufacturers ACEA.
In the given month, the French market (-14.7%) saw the only decline, while Italy (+14.0%), Spain (+7.5%) and Germany (+3.8%) reported positive results.
In the first two months of this year, new car registrations in the EU fell by 1.2 percent year on year to 1.66 million units. France (-11.1%) and Germany (-1.4%) showed a negative performance. On the other hand, Italy (+10.2%) and Spain (+4.6%) posted an increase.
