Italian crude steel production up 0.7 percent in June

Italian crude steel production fell slightly in June compared to 1.99 million mt in May. According to the latest update released by Federacciai, the Italian federation of steel companies, Italy produced around 1.908 million mt of crude steel in June, up by 0.7 percent year-on-year.

As for long products, the monthly output amounted to 1.039 mt in June, up 2.3 percent year on year, whereas for flat products output totaled 861,000 mt, up by 8.7 percent year on year.
