United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based structural steel producer Hibuild Steel Building System International has announced that it is planning to strengthen its position as a major supplier in the region by creating new production capacities.

Accordingly, the company aims to be the go-to supplier for developers in accordance with the growth in the UAE’s construction industry due to mega projects, such as Expo City Dubai, industrial hubs and large-scale residential constructions requiring significant volumes of structural steel. Hence, Hibuild Steel has set a target of increasing its structural steel production capacity to 60,000 mt per year by 2028.

In the meantime, the company, which has a state-of-the art production plant in Umm Al Quwain will cater to increasing demand while investing in low-carbon processes, thereby contributing to the UAE’s growth and sustainability goals.
