Hengyang Steel Tube receives CCS certification for larger product sizes

Hengyang Steel Tube Co., subsidiary of Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Valin Steel Group, has announced that it has been awarded additional certification by China Classification Society (CCS), for its expanded range of steel tube specifications.

The new certification covers the expansion in the range of the company's steel tube specifications, with maximum outside diameter extended from 365 mm to 720 mm and maximum wall thickness increased from 42 mm to 65 mm. The certification is expected to give Hengyang Steel Tube easier access to the shipbuilding steel tube market.
