Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Co. has announced that its subsidiary Hengban Co. has developed a new
tinplate product with a high degree of hardness, in order to meet market demand.
Specifications of the product in question are 0.24 mm in thickness and 925 mm in width. The new
tinplate product has met all requirements in tests.
