According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €743.38 million, decreasing by 6.1 percent year on year.
In the given month, France exported €96.12 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 9.2 percent, €37.46 million of cold rolled steel bars - up by 1.1 percent, €52.99 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 15.8 percent, €25.54 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 1.7 percent, and €56.95 million of metal structures and parts - down by 18.5 percent, all compared to the same month of 2025.
