The European Commission has started an antidumping duty investigation on imports of steel wheel from China, upon the application of  the Association of European Wheel Manufacturers (EUWA), according to a statement released in the Official Journal of the EU,.

The investigation into the alleged dumping of the Chinese steel wheels and their injury to the EU domestic industry will cover the period between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. The commission is expected to complete the investigation within one year, or no later than a 14-month period, after the publication of the notice on February 15, 2019.

The products under investigation currently fall under CN codes ex 8708 70 99 and ex 8716 90 90.
