Chilean rebar sales in August rose 19 percent, month-on-month, according to figures released this week by the country’s civil construction chamber, CChC.
The entity said the nation’s shipments of rebar in August totaled 46,249 mt, up from 38,867 mt in July, and the second highest level in the year so far, just behind January sales, which reached 50,249 mt.
In the accumulative period of January to August, Chilean rebar sales reached 540,953 mt, 9.2 percent down, year-on-year.
