Chilean rebar sales in September increased 7.7 percent, year-on-year, to 45,245 mt, according to the local chamber of civil construction (CChC). Rebar sales in September declined 1.4 percent, month-on-month, from 45,869 mt.
As for the accumulated period of January to September, Chilean rebar sales reached 392,749 mt, 0.4 percent down, year-on-year. Chilean rebar sales in the past three months have been declining, month-on-month. Chilean rebar sales in July reached 48,449 mt, but dropped to 45,869 mt in August and 45,245 mt in September.
