Chilean rebar sales increase 1.1 percent in February

Chilean rebar sales in February increased 1.1 percent, year-on-year, the nation’s civil construction chamber, CChC, said on Monday.

According to CChC figures, Chilean rebar sales in the second month of the year totaled 43,631 mt, up 1.4 percent month-on-month, and up 1.1 percent than the 43,138 units reported in the same month of the year prior.

As for the accumulated period of January to February, Chile’s rebar sales have amounted 86,641 mt, 7.2 percent down, year-on-year.
