Automotive sales in Turkey down 59.02 percent in January

In January, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey decreased by 59.02 percent year on year and by 81.5 percent month on month to 14,373 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD).

In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey declined by 58.74 percent year on year and by 82 percent month on month to 10,979 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles dropped by 59.91 percent year on year and by 80 percent month on month to 3,394 units.
