Argentinian auto production increases in July

Argentinian auto production in July rose 5.1 percent, year-on-year, to 41,450 units, according to the nation’s automotive industry association, Adefa.

According to the trade group, Argentinian exports of autos in July rose 10.8 percent, year-on-year, to 25,363 units.

Domestic auto sales reached 46,637 units, 15.8 percent down, year-on-year.

As for the accumulated period of January to July this year, Argentinian auto production reached 284,105 units, 9.8 percent up, year-on-year.

Argentinian auto exports in the January-July period grew 30.1 percent, year-on-year, to 146,933 units, while domestic sales in the same period dropped 4 percent, year-on-year, to 468,244 units.
