Argentina's auto output up 226.1 percent in June from May

In June this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) totaled 15,657 units, increasing by 226.1 percent month on month and falling by 34.5 percent year on year, according to the report released by the country's auto association (ADEFA). Meanwhile, in the January-June period of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 86,439 units, down 46.4 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.

In June, Argentina's auto exports totaled 6,875 units, up 113 percent month on month and decreasing by 60.5 percent year on year. In the first six months of this year, the country's auto exports fell by 50.6 percent year on year to 53,222 units.
