Argentina’s auto production output in October this year totaled 38,659 units, increasing by 3.7 percent month on month and down by 11.8 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, Argentinian auto exports declined by 5.6 percent in October compared to the previous month and were up by four percent compared to October last year to 22,028 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in October totaled 37,207, decreasing by 12.7 percent month on month and falling by 50 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 409,366 units in the January-October period of this year, 3.7 percent more year on year. In the same period, exports rose to 220,365 units, up 27.9 percent year on year.
