Argentina’s auto production in December last year totaled 14,524 units, falling by 46.4 percent month on month and down by 29.1 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, Argentinian auto exports increased by 5.8 percent in December compared to the previous month and were down by 17.4 percent compared to December last year to 18,965 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in December totaled 31,151, increasing by 36 percent month on month and falling by 35.7 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 314,787 units in 2019, declining by 32.5 percent year on year. Exports rose to 224,248 units last year, down 16.7 percent year on year.
