Argentina’s auto production in December last year totaled 20,475 units, decreasing by 44.4 percent month on month and by 38.5 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, in December Argentinian auto exports decreased by 11.9 percent month on month and rose by 26.1 percent year on year to 22,947 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in December totaled 48,818, increasing by 46.3 percent month on month and falling by 46.4 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 466,649 units in 2018, declining by 1.4 percent year on year. On the other hand, the exports rose to 269,360 units last year, up 28.5 percent year on year.
