Turkish ship scrap market moves up $5/mt further on upper end

Since SteelOrbis’ report published on October 5, one Izmir-based mill has increased its ship scrap procurement price by another $5/mt, pushing the upper end of the general range up to $355-365/mt from $355-360/mt for delivery to mill by truck.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
