One Turkish mill reduces its ship scrap price to $335/mt

As of today, June 27, one Izmir-based Turkish mill has reduced its ship scrap procurement price by $5/mt, while the other local mills have kept their prices stable as compared to Friday, June24. The general range is now at $335-345/mt. The total decline in Turkey’s ship scrap market has reached $115-135/mt since the beginning of June, depending on the mill.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
