A Turkish steel producer in the Izmir region has decided to cut its ship scrap purchase price by $5/mt. The revision has not caused a change in the general price range, with Turkey’s ship scrap purchase prices remaining in the range of $340-362/mt today, April 14. Ship scrap purchase prices in Turkey are still under downward pressure, with more revisions expected to be heard this week.
