Izmir-based Turkish mills cut ship scrap prices by $10/mt

Several Izmir-based Turkish steel producers have cut their ship scrap procurement prices further by $10/mt. Özkan Demir Çelik, which already represented the bottom end of the price range, has kept its prices stable. The general range is now at $350-357/mt for delivery to mill by truck, moving down by $10/mt on the upper end.

In Turkey’s Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
