Notable wire rod, rebar and plate shipments into the US, May 30-June 4

Wire Rod:

• Two shipments totaling 5,915 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on June 1 from Chinese ports.

Rebar:

• 20 shipments totaling 1,611 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of Baltimore, Maryland on June 3 from Mediterranean region ports, Turkey.
• Five shipments totaling 8,062 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on June 3 from Black Sea and Sea of Marmara ports, Turkey.

Plate:

• 11,101 metric tons of steel plate arrived into the Port of Panama City, Florida on May 31 from the Port of Brake, Germany.
