According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 17,899 mt in June 2018, down 0.5 percent from May but up 15.5 percent from June 2017 levels. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $25.3 million in June, compared to $26.4 million in the previous month and $19.6 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Canada in June with 13,326 mt, compared to 12,179 mt in May and 10,778 mt in June 2017. Other destinations include Mexico, with 3,388 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US structural pipe and tube exports in June.
