According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 10,279 mt in June 2023, down 0.1 percent from May and down 20.3 percent from June 2022. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $19.9 million in June, compared to $20.9 million in the previous month and $27.4 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Mexico in June with 5,252 mt, compared to 4,647 mt in May and 4,358 mt in June 2022. Other top destinations included Canada, with 4,822 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US structural pipe and tube exports in June.
