The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of the countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from South Korea for the period of review (POR) between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

The DOC has preliminarily determined that countervailable subsidies were not provided to SeAH Steel Corporation, the examined producer and exporter, and assigned a de minimis net countervailable subsidy rate of 0.13 percent.

The DOC has rescinded the review in part with respect to four companies, AJU Besteel Co., Ltd., ILJIN Steel Corporation, Kumkang Kind Co., Ltd., and NEXTEEL Co., Ltd., after each timely withdrew its request for review. The DOC further intends to rescind the review with respect to Hyundai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. as the company had no reviewable entries of subject merchandise during the POR.
